NPDES Engineer, DelDOT

This position reports to the Engineer Program Manager II and will assist in administering the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit requirements. Primary responsibilities include: managing the capital program that develops BMP maintenance contracts and water quality improvement projects; assisting the maintenance districts with drainage and stormdrain infrastructure investigations; develop policies, regulations, grants and agreements; oversee consultant agreements; and other job duties as necessary to ensure the Department remains in permit compliance.

Planner III (Coastal Training Program Coordinator) - Delaware National Estuarine Research Reserve (DNERR)

The Reserve is looking for a Coastal Planner to lead the Coastal Training Program and to provide outreach and technical assistance to coastal decision makers. The position will be the sector lead for the Coastal Training Program of the Delaware National Estuarine Research Reserve. Primary duties involve developing trainings and communicating with Reserve partners and coastal decision makers. This includes offering technical assistance, seminars, hands-on skill training, facilitation and participatory workshops, lectures, and technology demonstrations. Other duties include providing federal partner (NOAA) award and reporting support and seeking supportive grants. The position will be expected to develop presentations and written documentation on assigned activities for wide ranging audiences.
